Monin syrups are highly concentrated and made from natural fruits, nuts, spices, water and sugar. Use it to flavor your espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, coffee or teas. Great for Italian sodas and bar drinks. Makes a perfect granita or smoothie drink. No artificial flavoring and no preservatives. Monin syrups do not include any fat or cholesterol. Some (very few) flavors contain USFDA certified coloring additives.

Chocolate Almond Biscotti

Ingredients
2/3 cups almonds, chopped and toasted
1/2 cup butter (softened)
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
3 teaspoon Monin Dark Chocolate Syrup
1 teaspoon Monin Almond Syrup
2 cups plus 2 tablespoons flour
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
1-1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup Milk Chocolate or milk chocolate chips
1/3 cup Semisweet (chopped) chocolate chips
1/3 cup white chocolate chips + 1 teaspoon margarine (glazing)

• Cream butter, sugar, eggs until fluffy, add Monin Dark Chocolate and Monin Almond syrups and combine well.
• Add to wet mix and combine well.
• Fold in chopped nuts and both chocolates.
• Form into 2 logs 14 inches long by 1/2 inch high by 1-1/2 inches wide.
• Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
• Let cool completely and then slice at 45 degree angle 1 inch wide.
• Place on sheet and bake 8 minutes.
• Melt white chocolate and margarine in a small cup in microwave for 30-45 seconds and pipe in stripes over warm cookies.
• Cool completely and store in covered container.
• Flavor will stay fresh for up to 3 weeks.
