Sidamo is a major coffee growing region in southern Ethiopia and Yirgacheffe is a small sub-region
centered around a village of the same name. So in fact, Yirgacheffe coffees are Sidamos. So why carry
both? We felt that the this Washed Sidamo, as a certified Organic Fair Trade coffee, outshined it’s
famous cousin the Yirgacheffes that were available this year. Expect a lively brightness in the cup that
holds a sustained high note accented by citrus, sweet fruit notes, bright acidity and a pungent spicy, dried
fruit complexity. So impressive a cup that we decided to add yet another East African coffee to our
